shopping mall or head off????????

I have seen many shopping malls growing around the india now. My question is really this malls helping tha shoppers or not????????? I think that the price of an item inside the mall is very much hiher than the price out side. But it easy to locate an item inside the mall as all the comodities are under one roof. So, which is going to be compromised money or pleasure of AC. I don't think malls are too popular in india for shopping. I am stressing the word 'shopping' because my experience is that people don't go to the malls for shopping. They just enjoy the pleasure of AC and the food court inside. What is your view?
