Writing for SEO or Search Engine Optimization

I recently got a writing job. The pay is not huge, but I'm a beginner, so it's a start. I also figure it will help improve both my research and writing skills, since I'm required to turn in 3-5 articles of 400-450 words each. Thing is, I'm also studying full time. I've given myself around 3 hours a day to complete my writing tasks, but I'm still a bit slow, so I've exceeded the limit most of the time. Any tips on how to accomplish SEO articles fast while maintaining article quality?

Woa, I'm glad you got this job. But let me ask you: is this job online? I mean, if it is I want it too! If it is online, could you please pass me the website? Well, you must remember that, if you want to write 400-450, that won't be easy. If you're not writing something very technical, like here in my lot, you can make use of words like "well". Instead of writing "You must remember that, if you want to...", you could use "Well, you must keep in mind that, if you really want to...". From 8 words to 12! You see? Something like that. Change unique words for double words that will mean the same. Here is an example of how could you write your own discussion description in a very large way: Original: "I recently got a writing job. They payment is not very good, but I'm still a beginner, so it is a start for me. Do you have any tips on how to accomplish SEO articles faster, while mantaining the article quality?" Original: around 95 Words Edited: around 113 Words. You see? It's a small difference, but it sure will help you saving time.

Thanks! That does help :) I got this job surfing around friendster, so I found someone based in the Philippines, which is where I'm from. Unfortunately, I think they only accept people based here, since payment is done through local banks. If you want an international site though, try signing up on online-writing-jobs.com and getafreelancer.com. You can browse through posts of people who are looking for freelance writers and bid for those that you want to do. I bid for a few and actually got a response. Good luck!

I know it's been awhile since you posted this discussion, but my advice is simple: keep at it. Writing is like anything else, practice makes perfect. The more that you write, the faster you'll be able to come up with an SEO article. For instance, I have been writing SEO articles for several years now, and have gotten my time down to around 20-25 minutes per 350-400 word article. That is aiming for a 3-5% keyword density. At first, though, my time was more like 45 minutes per article. The more I wrote, the faster I got. So, that's my basic advice. Stick with it, be consistent, and try to write at least a little bit each day. Your speed will improve naturally. Also, if you think that your typing speed might be the issue, you may want to look into typing software that will help improve your words-per-minute. For those of you who claimed interest in finding SEO jobs online, check out my blog, which is full of different articles about available freelance writing websites.
