If you see someone dropt their groceries or some other items would you help them pick them up or keep on walking right by them? I actually saw someone drop some groceries..they went all over the place..I went to help them and they told me it's not necessary to help..but still managed to help saying I wanted to help them.. What about you?

If I donĀ“t have my hands occupied I usually do, especially if the person involved is an old lady. If he or she is a teenager who went shopping with one or more friends, I probably will think they don't need my help and will keep on walking.

I'd probably laugh and then wait until they had picked it all up and then say.. need any help?

I fell to the ground..and couldnt get up! i was cryin in pain..and embarrassment..i wanted a hole right now to crawl in..and after about an hour..of gettin me up and calling for someone to drive me home blah blah..the lady felt soo bad! I kept telling her that id be ok..that it happens allll the time..(which not as much as i made it out) but i wanted her to not feel so bad...anywho..i dont regret doing it and i would do it again and again..i just love helping people..

No matter if I am late (and I am usually late) I absolutely cannot walk past someone that has dropped their groceries without bending down to help. Call it instinct or upbringing or empathy. I HAVE to help.

That's so sweet, if I am the one that drop and someone give a helping hand; I will be very touch and grateful. As for me, I will do the same as you do. You are nice and helpful. Cheers

Of course I would help them...and my husband and kids would react the same way I would and quite frankly I wouldnt allow anything less than that from them ya know...Its common decency as far as I'm concerned and just natural like saying "Good Mornign" to someone or "Have a nice day", using your manners by saying "Thank you" and so on..I dont really see how anyone would be okay wiht just walking by but sadly there are ppl (far too many IMO) who are like that....its a shame really

Yes, I would help someone if they droped their gorceries. Just last month a lady was carrying out her gorceries with one hand and she was also carrying her son. She dropped her gorcery bag and I went and picked it up for her, She thanked me.I am glad to help someone in need.

Hello, littlefranciscan, when i see someone drop their groceries,of course i will help them if i am not carrying anything on my hands. They tell you they do not need any help because they do not want to bother anyone, but I think they will be happy if you give them a hand. I always think it is a good thing to do people a small favour.
