On June 1st we are moving about 45 miles from Pennslyvania into Ohio. We are moving from an apartment to a house. The only problem is the house isnt ready to move into yet. It is a very old house.(165 years)We had to tear down the old sheetrock because there was no insulation in the outside walls. So the house is a mess. The walls are not finished and we have men from our church coming firday to move our furniture. We are going to have to live in our travel trailer until the house is done.It should be an exciting summer.

my family and i have moved to 4 houses since i was a kid. we own all those houses. the reason why we always move coz my mom doesnt really feel that those houses we lived before is a perfect home...now she is planning to just built her dream house, so we are still staying in our house and wait until our home is built. moving to different house or place is tiresome but an adventure also.

My fiance and I just moved about 2,000 miles, from Illinois to Seattle, Washington. When we got here, we didn't have an apartment yet, so we have been staying in a hotel for the past three days. Luckily, we should be moving into an apartment this afternoon!

Ah, but the thrill of having done it all and created your own place to live in will be wonderful! Good luck! I'm sure it will serve to make many memories! At least you have the pool to go to to cool off! LOL Keep us posted with pics!

So long as your in before next winter you can consider it a big adventure. If you have kids, call it roughing it, they'll have no excuse to not spend the time outside like kids ought to be!

A new job and a house? Gosh, you are so lucky. I have a step daughter in Northeast Ohio and it is absolutly beautiful there. You are going to enjoy your house when it is done. Just pretend you are camping, living in your camper. Fresh air, silent nights, ahhh...
