Do you like to feed the ducks?

Yes, my son and I go to the park close to here and take our puppy with us. There are so many ducks there at the water pond plus when the city has the water sprinklers going you will find some at the water sprinklers also. We always take bread for them but of course can never take enough for all of them. The one thing that bothers me though are the seagulls that dive down and take it before the ducks can get it.

I enjoy feeding the birds. Especially ducks, there is something about them that is very peaceful. Well they are a part of nature. Nature has always been peaceful to me in it's own little way. There is a pond not far from here and I go there when I am needing a break from everything work, home life, etc. and just feed the fish and ducks that may be there.

Oh yes I love to do that. And I have to do that too.LOL I love to see the little babies I wish I could pick them up. Dont you? But we know momma wouldnt let that happen.LOL

Yes,certaintly i like duck.They are cute to look at.If im staying nearby where i can see ducks,i will go everyday to feed up the ducks.It's interesting to see them.Previously i saw duck in the zoo...they are a lot there.But i don't know exactly what they eat.I guess worm. :-)

I love to feed the ducks, we have a couple of parks in town where the ducks collect during summer months. One of them has geese too but we learned not to feed them because they can be very aggressive and will gang up on you - no matter how big you are.

No the ducks like to feed on me, everytime i feed the ducks they try eating my fingers and their bite hurts

I love feeding the ducks. The other day I saw a momma duck leading a bunch of babies, they looked so cute. I once was trying to feed some swans, I figured they were like ducks, only bigger. Was I wrong, they came at me, hissing, flapping their wings, looking mean and making all kinds of noise. Scared the daylights out of me, I will no longer try to feed swans, they are mean. Beautiful to look at, at a distance. From now on I will stick with ducks.

I don't actually feed the ducks. If they are wild animals, I don't feed them people junk food. It's not their regular diet, and feeding them makes them accostumed to hand outs, which can make them sick (as it isn't their proper diet) and they may become less able to forage for food on their own. This isn't healthy for wild animals. i may purchase a few ducks as pets on our new farm, and I will feed them proper food that ducks are supposed to eat, not my leftover scraps.

Me and my husband often take our 3 year old son to the park to feed the ducks, as he loves it. Though that many people feed them they are never hungry.

I haven't done that in a long time. We used to go to the park and feed the duck and I really enjoyed feeding them we had two ducks one year as a pet then we let them go so we often go and see them and now we can't tell who's who.

I love feeding the ducks, swans, doves, pigeons, fish... I try to use corn when I can as I've heard that bread isn't so good for them, but I can't always give them corn so I resort to bread a lot. I love watching them race towards the food I give them and eat happily, it can cause a bit of confusion when you are feeding pigeons as they seem to come from all directions but they never landed on me where I live, they don't trust people enough, not sure if that's a good or bad thing. I have manged to make them go under my legs a few times wile sitting and grabbed an occasional one to pet it, no harm done. I have a camera now so I plan to take a lot of photos next time. I don't get all that many opportunities to do it. I also like feeding the lizards, they get frenetic trying to carry around chunks of cheese, bread, ham bigger then them lol... I love feeding the ducks. We have a huge pond by the zoo in our town and whenever we go to the zoo we will take bread out there to feed the ducks.

I love ducks. We don't have any hanging around here, but whenever I see them somewhere, I'll stop to look at them. We used to have a pet duck, we raised her from a chick, and she was such a nice pet. When she got older, my daughter had to try to teach her how to fly, and we had to get her into the water and get her to swim. She used to follow us around all the time. When she got better at flying, she used to fly up and circle the house, and fly away for awhile, and she would come back at night. Eventually, she joined some other ducks and stayed with them.

I used to go to Kissena Park where they have a pond there...it's usually filled with mallards but more Canada Geese which for some reason I have a real attachment for---I used to love photographing them, and of course feed them...that's how I often got great shots of them by feeding them, as they would come real close to me

Yeah, if I ever get a chance I would feed them. I think it is just cool doing that sometimes.

I live in a capital, but when i was a child-my grandparents had ducks at our village. And i feed them with pleasure. I did it with all animals:-)

I think it is something that everybody enjoys, old and young, it would be very nice if you can take pictures, and share it with us! looking forward to it!

Oh I love to feed the ducks whenever I go to the park. I even like to feed the geese. Though geese scare me!:P LOL I haven't fed any ducks in some time, but hopefully I'll be able to again soon.

We have a big pond in "Monty Children Park" next to our home. I with my nephews go there and often feed ducks. It gives me happiness and satisfaction which is hard to describe in words. Based on my experience I would say, I not only like feeding ducks but long for it.

I like to feed the ducks. I have a couple pet ducks, some which I like to put sweaters on. If you search under photos I uploaded a picture of my duck wearing his christmas sweater. I buy them from the build-a-bear store and they fit him perfectly! It is the cutest thing ever to watch him waddle around wearing the sweater I bought him.
