I am now considered Obese. That word is disgusting and gross and it scares me. My big problem is that my weight irritates me...so i eat one meal a day for 2 months, i lose the weight then start eating normally and put it all back on plus some. My 21st is comming up on the 21st August and i know that i wont be a twigg but i really need to lose atleast 20kg. Is it possible and how should i go about it in a healthy way that is easy on the money pocket? I really need some advice

It's not healthy to skip meals. That's the reason you gain back all the lbs. you've lost. Just start cutting down on your regular meal serving slowly then do a few exercises or go to the gym. When you start to get the hang of it, then you can increase your exercise time and routine. Please remember that there is no such thing as instant weight loss. Your primary goal of losing weight should be your health so please do it the right way.

When your daily caloric intake is under 1,000, your body kicks into starvation mode, turning everything you eat into fat (the easiest storage method for energy). This is obviously going against everything you're trying to do. If you want a detailed plan or even free tips and advice, try ediets.com. I've lost like ten lbs already, and I wasn't exactly trying. It's just implementing one thing at a time, day by day. Move around as much as you can, practice using good posture, go for walks in the evening with your family. Try eating crunchy raw fruits and veggies (for me, they keep me occupied; I eat when I'm bored) and using oil and vingear in place of dressings or mayo. Even using mustard instead of mayo helps. Then there's the milk thing, cutting out all liquids but water and tea, eating 4 or 5 smaller meals a day (think 400 calories at most) to keep your blood sugar from spiking and dropping (it makes you sleepy, jumpy, overfull, and starving later). I love apples now; it's basically energy you can fit in your purse! And sweet enough to satisfy even my sweet tooth, even though I do eat my chocolate squares every day. Blessed Be

Eating one meal a day wont work, your killing your metabolism, which is your friend when it comes to weight loss. Look up a bmi calculator, to see how many calories per day you need to maintain your current weight and start cutting that number down. My guess is that you are eating less than 1200 calories a day. When you do that your body goes into starvation mode and wont release anything else. Try eating more lower calorie meals every 2-3 hours, this will help your metabolism and you willlose more weight - properly. I know it sucks when you have weight to lose, but if you do it properly and dont crash diet youll have more success. Good luck :)
