Do you avoid being a referral?

Let us all be honest. I have noticed that people avoid being a referral. And for that they would cut off the referral part and be a new non-referred member rather than being a referral. Example: Rather than using http://www.mylot.com/?ref=neelampatel007 people use http://www.mylot.com/ only. I do feel bad for those who deserve better earning for reffering. And this applies as a generic behavior and not only to the mylot referral link. Have you done that? Even once? What is the solution?I think the solution is: myLot membership should be by invite only. What do you say of this?
