I have noticed during the last few days that most people are so bust creating discussions that there is sort of an information overload and hardly anybody cares to respond to others discussions. One character started so many discussions simultaneously that the topics occuppied an entire page ! Is this the wrong attitude ? Shouldn't we be more reponsible and not just start any discussion as per our whims and fancies ?

I think a lot of people are trying to post a lot of discussions in the hopes of "hitting the big one" and receive hundreds of replies therefore earning more with less work. As a result, some of the discussions are SO frivilous and borderline ridiculous. I find myself scrolling from page to page trying to look for something interesting to respond to. I don't like to respond for the sake of responding. So, sometimes I may spend an hour here and only post about 5 posts. That's ok. My main goal here is not to make money. It's just an avenue for me to "escape" for a couple of hours everyday. But I want to do it with integrity and still stay true to who I am. I'm not going to sell myself out for a few cents! :) Good question, sidbanerjee.

Precisely what I feel. I too enjoy participating in quality discussions but finding them really takes some doing.

Well if people are just starting conversations and not responding there will be a lot of discussions with zero responses. This is great it gives you the opportunity to answer all those disucssions and if no one else responds you will likely get all the best responses. :) I like going through looking for discussions that have zero responses and then I answer the ones that I like the most. It makes them happy they get a response I am sure so it makes me happy.

Haahahahaa, good one, I'll wait a while and if no one else responds yours will most certainly be the best reponse.

You are so right. And the majority of discussions are without any answers. I also had started some but without many answers even I think they had good topics.

I have noticed what you are talking about. I have read discussions that ask what do you do if your friends don't reply yo the discussions you start. After reading a few of the responses it makes me want to laugh. One response was that the person was busy so they didn't always have time to respond to their friends discussions. Yet, if you were to go look at the persons profile you would see that the person was able to start several new discussions. I admit that I don't start a whole lot of discussions. I try to respond to as many of my friends discussions as I can.
