Do you turn "notify is off" into "notify is on"?

The text link is showing next to our friend's name. I turn it "on" for some of my friends. It gives me notification by e-mail whenever they start a new discussion. I always activated my Outlook Express. So I can give responses to the subjects interesting to me by clicking on the text link in the e-mail.
What about you?

Yes I always notify on my friends so that they will always knew every new discussions that I've made and at the same time every discussions that they have made also.It is always a good move on both parties.

I turn on the notification only for my friends who actively participate here and who starts more discussions.
