I am not a steak lover. I had too much of it growing up. There are several other foods I prefer over a steak. Once in a while, cooked on the grill is ok, but it is not something I ever crave. Even prime rib is nothing special to me. I guess I am probably in the minority on this.

I like a rib-eye. I like it when it is still red in the middle. So, I like it rare. Most restaurants won't cook it that way so I have to settle for medium rare. At home, I cook it my way. A few minutes each side, nice and juicy and so tender.

I am really not fussy when it comes to steak. I like it just about any way it is cooked and any cut. My boyfriend does the cooking and he tends to make everything just under medium too, so thats usually the way I eat it. I guess if I had to name a favorite cut, it would be the eye of round, I think it is called or maybe the rib eye. Prime rib is good too but kind of on the expensive side.

I am getting really hungry!! you know when my husband and I grill out at home we will get some cheap steaks sometimes and I really do a good tenderizer to them..beating them with a fork...works best..and gosh..it is sooo good..next time you cook steaks at home..let them totally thaw out..then beat them with a fork and add what ever kind of spice that you like and grill..it is amazing how good it is ...
