beggers to be paid or not on streets /or trafic area though some really look

Recently I heard a news channel which had taken an interview of many beggers all around some cities. The responses which were gathered by the channel were surprising. Some stated that they were from a well to do family and took to begging just as a time pass. There were incidences where some beggers turned out to be millioniars. So personally I feel that we should not give even a penny to these people. We may feel that the poor person may suffer a lot, and so do everyone passing by. You see its such a good, all-season business. If at all you feel very pity on these beggers give them something to eat and not money. If they are genuine beggers they will happily accept it or you know what might be the consequencies....

You mean beggars right? I believe its the government's responsibility to look after their welfare and not to let them loiter everywhere.
