for you what are the best beaches in the philippines you've been to? here's mine: (1) Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte (not yet as commercialized as Boracay) (2) Hundred Islands, Alaminos, Pangasinan, (3) Panglao, Bohol (4) Boracay Island, Aklan (well during lean season when there is less tourist) anyone been to palawan or camiguin? what can you say about the beaches?

I loved Pagudpud! I went to this resort there called Arinaya. It's super! The water was very blue and clear. We took a boat ride (the small boat with the katig) and when we got to the middle of the sea, the water was shallow enough and we could see all kinds of fishes and corals. Just like a city under the sea. It was marvelous!

we also stayed in arinaya resort.. and yes i totally agree with you 100%.. aside from the white sand beach and less tourist, the water so blue and very clear! it was really another world! i just hope it would remain unspoiled for us to enjoy! although at least we had already enjoyed it before it becomes too commercialized... the long travel and exhaustion was paid off seeing the beach..

I wish it remains undiscovered by people who frequent other beaches here the Philippines - both locals and foreigners. It might end up looking like Boracay if it does.

i like panglao the best... it does not have that much tourist compared to boracay. and it is very affordable to stay there. boracay on the other hand, for me has been exploited already. it has not been preserved, which the island doesn't deserve. i've never been to camiguin and would want to go there one of these days. i've heard some good feedbacks about the place, especially their springs. =D

The best for me are the beaches found in Panglao, Bohol. It is the birthplace of my mother. My latest visit was last 2003. I recommend Alona Beach and Bohol Beach Club for you to see. Second top for me is Camiguin beaches, specially the white beach they have. Just go there during summer to make sure to typhoon is along the shore. Third I love Duka Bay. You can take a ride with a fiber optic glass bottom boat to see the terrfic and wonderful corals they have under the deep blue see!

Duka bay is in Medina also in the province of Misamis Oriental. It is in between Cagayan de Oro City and Gingoog City. I hope you can see the nice beach in there. God bless!
