I don't spend a lot of time watching tv. I used to watch a lot of tv. My last job was second shift and I did not have time to watch much tv. Even though we have moved and I do not have a new job yet, I still do not watch much tv. When I do watch tv I usually watch re-runs like King of Queens or Seinfeld. At night I always have the tv on Nick @ Nite with re-suns of The Cosby Show, Roseanne and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. I know some people do not like to watch re-runs espcially of episodes they have already seen. I love them. I even have some box sets of some of my favorite tv series so I can watch them over and over again. What about you...fo you like re-runs?

Yes, if it was interesting enough watching it first time round, and there's been a long enough period between watching it origionally and watching the re-run. I often watch re-runs, especially becuase there's a lot on UK TV and als becuase the new stuff can be a bit rubbish!

I agree. Sometimes I'm not home to watch "prime time" tv. So by the time I do go to watch it, re-runs are the best bet.

I've been watching old ER reruns lately. And sometimes I'll watch old Mad About You, Seinfeld and Friends Episodes. Another show I've been getting into watching is the Sopranos. I never got to watch it when it first came out because I didn't have HBO. So one of our friends has the dvds and we've been watching it from the beginning so we can get caught up.

I love watching Seinfeld re-runs. We also have them on dvd. We have most of the series now. =) We'll get the rest as we get around to it and such. We've followed the Sopranos pretty regularly. Pretty decent series. Almost done though

What choice do we have? That all thats on. Thank goodness I dont watch the idiot box that often. I watch it for a couple of hours at night and thats it for me. I would rather do something with my life and besides I think its a waste of our time.heheheheh

I can respect that. I love tv. I don't watch a whole lot of it. I'm still kind of new to this area and don't have many friends here. I'm also not working yet so I have a LOT of free time. I try to putter around the apartment instead of watching tv all the time.

I recently began watching re-runs of Gilmore Girls. It's funny because I never watched the show when it was on and now that it's off the air, I can't get enough of it on ABC Family. I watched countless re-runs of Friends and still find it fresh and funny and I would say the same for Seinfeld.

I agree. I never watched Seinfeld when it originally aired. I watch it often now though through re-runs. We also have more of the series on DVD as well. I tend to buy dvds of the series I like. I can watch the episodes over and over again and still enjoy them. I also love watching The Golden Girls.

I don't like re-runs definitely because the thrill and excitement are there anymore for you already knew the story. The thrill in any movie or TV show is the series/sequence leading to the end of the story.

I can understand that. I guess it just does not bother me. I know a lot of others cannot take watching things over again.

yup, i do watch reruns almost everyday if there is nothing else on tv. I start at 4 oclock with "Yes, Dear" on TBS and end up watching sienfeld or everybody loves raymond about 9pm. Well, i don't watch all of it without standing up of course!;))) I do my regular home stuff while TV is mumbling ;)) But i do stop t laugh at my favorite mooments. But thank God - There is a new season of King of Qeens! ;)))))

I love watching from that time on as well. Love the shows and some days I watch most of them other days I'm just around with it on as background noise. I thought King of Queens was done. I watched the series finale...

I really can't watch most re-runs, at least the "newer" shows. I love Nick at Nite and watch that almost nightly. King of Queens is newish and I can watch it, but then again we didn't watch it from the beginning so that might be why.

I love King of Queens. I did not watch it from the beginning either. Depending on the show I can just watch it. hehe But Nick at Nite is GREAT!

I watch some reruns. I love Roseanne! Usually I'm too busy watching the shows I DVR'ed to watch reruns, though. My son is still up during most of prime time, so really the only shows we get to watch then are Deal or No Deal and Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? My husband and I both love shows like CSI (all three of them) and L&O: SVU. But of course they aren't appropriate for a 15 month old so we have to wait until we have time when he is asleep. It's a good thing that I don't mind watching the same thing over and over. Today, we watched the same episode of Sesame Street 5 times. I was sick, and it was raining, so we couldn't go outside to play or anything. My son just played inside all day, and we had the TV on for background noise. Everytime I tried to switch it, he wanted the "Gookie Munder" back, even though he wasn't even paying much attention anyway. I tried a different episode (we have about a month on the DVR) but he ONLY wanted that one. Oh well. Kids are great. :)

I love DVR! It's so handy. We usually set up certain shows so we can watch the show when we want to and we do not have to be home for it. We just got DVR when we moved out here. I'd be lost without it now. That's too funny about Sesame Street. That would drive my mother nuts. I probably was never allowed to do that when I was little. haha She does not watch re-runs and she only watches movies once. She will re-watch a movie if she missed part of it or was confused about something in it. But just for the sake of re-watching it, she won't. Me, I LOVE to watch movies over and over again.

I can't stand watching reruns. Unless it is a recent show it really annoys me. I also tend not to watch a movie more than once (ever); except if it really grabs my attention.

I respect that. I know a lot of people like that. It's how my mom is. She thinks it's crazy that I have seen some movies like 50 times. haha

I depends what it is. If South park, Spongebob, Futuramam or the simpsons is on I will always watch it even ifit is a repeat. Then again those are the only shows i watch on TV anyway :P

I watch a lot of Family Guy reruns simply because they are funny each and every time you watch them.
