what was the best advise you've ever taken that was most helpful at one point in your life.

Hi maiax2k6! I think that the best advise that I have been given is to love myself. A friend of mine told me this saying that in order to love anyone, we should be loving ourselves first. Have a nice day and take care!

i agree with you faith210. first and foremost is to love yourself in a way that you should be taking care of yourself in all dimensions, because you just can't give what you don't have. smiles too sweet! :)

yeah, sometimes we do need some reminders like these from other people even though we know these ourselves already, it helps that other people put on some encouragements and affirmations because it adds up to our confidence at the time when we most need them. :) HAVE A HAPPY LIFE.

I was benefited to attend a free seminar two years ago. The speaker said.. "never believe when somebody tells you..that you are nothing and that you cannot improve and nothing great will happen to you. Most specially, never accept when that person tells you that YOU are a failure. Remember, he is in a more difficult and alarming situation than you! and remember.. God is not yet finished with you."This this.. i felt better.. hopeful, motivated and happily smiling when i got home. From then on..I just ignored when I hear the same phrases such as "u are nothing"..it did not affect me psychologically or negatively from then on. Moving forward..i felt the challenge to excel and do better. So, it is up to me and my God to work it out. Two years past.. i have seen that principle has worked out very well with me. You too can try it.. just be kind to yourself and give it a try. Afterall.. no one is like YOU. .you are unique.
