is american idol becoming too cheesy these days?

has it changed since the previous shows? are the contestants just lasting because of theier looks? is it still about singing?

I've seen a big difference in Ameican Idol. I am routing for Blake but I think Jordin blew him out of the water last night.. We will see what happens tonight

I am rooting for blake also, even though he really cannot sing he just has more charisma than jordin, she can sing her heart out though! i dont know it's gonna be a toughy!!!

I always thiught it was tacky and stupid. Its not like any of those kids will make one red cent after the whole show is over finally, which I hope is soon

you obviously hav'nt even watched an episode of the show, mostly all of the contestants, even the ones who dont win have made alot of money! and sell out concerts. sorry.

I stop watching American Idol after the third season... I felt it was loosing its way... I think over a period of time the bar which upholds the american Idol standards has dropped. and although I am proud of my thick brother and sisters changing the American View of what an Idol should look like, I feel the talent of singing has dropped... some of those people I've seen latly can't sing worth a damn and now its just becoming one of the reality t.v. show's...
