Will you make sacrifice for the sake of higher values?

Most people want a happy life with a good family,good health,meaningful work, and enough money to live comfortably.To have all the four requires balance,and when one's main concern is money ,that balance is disturbed.Do you agree with that?Will you make any sacrifice of luxuries for the sake of higher values?
