I was For Melinda

I was rooting for melinda too. i was more than sure that she was going to win the title this year, and i was shocked in the face when Ryan announced that she was going home the other week. Melinda is more consistent than Jordin, plus her voice is more steady and stable than Jordin. If people choose Jordin over Melinda just because Melinda doesnt have the "look" then shame on you! this is a singing competition, not a beauty pageant. But its ok, i belive that we will hear great things from Melinda. She sang so gracefully during the finale result show with Bebe & Cece :-)

I was actually rooting for Jordin right up until the final 6 I think it was. Thats when I noticed how awesome Melinda was. She can sing and perform and was surely the most consistent to the end. The only thing I thought she lacked was personality. However when she sang with Bebe and Cece Winans, man, she definitely should of won :)

I do not watch American Idol often. The last time I was able to catch it in its entirety was the year when Carrie Underwood won. Anyway, the few times I was able to watch, I was simply blown away by Melinda. I thought she was it. But I guess my tastes do not reflect those of the Americans voting in AI.
