What do you take from your parents?

As a child you probably heard, "Just wait until you are the parent!" And probably said to them at least once, "I am going to be nothing like you!" But now that you have your own children, are you different from your own parents? What are some of the same things you have done in raising your kids that your parents did with you? What are some of the things that you chose to do differently?
