I am afraid to have fun!

Are you afraid to have fun? I have always known that I am too serious but in the last few years I am so aware of the fact that I have always been afraid to have fun. I have thought about this off and I and I realize that I relate fun to pain! I think I have boiled it down to two things. When I was really young my uncle and my brother would tickle me until I finally started to cry because I couldnt' take it anymore and the second reason could be that I always felt when I was younger when I was happy and having fun I always ended up getting into trouble for some reason or another. I can't really think of other reason why this could be a problem for me. Does anyone else have any ideas why I associate fun with pain and therefore hold back from having fun. Is there anyone else out there that also associate fun with pain. I am the only one I know unless it is just something that is not talked about! Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated!
