Do u people know you cannot create a file or a folder by name con in any drives or location in your computer have u ever tried this if not try it out .. but some people say we can create by typing mkdir//./c:/con in the DOS

I have just tried after reading your discussion but i can't . thanks for this new information to share with us. I din't have much knowlege about dos commands. it may be possible to make folder or filr named con using DOS command.

This is true as the "con" is in the dos commands ie. copy con command con stands for console.
