Ouch, Somebody Must Really Not Like Me

I realize that standing up for what you believe in is not always a popular thing to do, and my points have dropped a bit from the 99/100 rating that I have continuously been carrying. Imagine my surprise this morning when I woke up and saw a yellow star by my name, and a ranking of only 83/100.
My first thought was, wow someone really must not like the fact that I am turning in those who openly abuse the myLot system. All I can say is that if you want to deliberately cheat the system, expect to be turned in, and even though that is not what the - button is for, if you feel the need to use it, I cannot stop you. I will continue to stand up for what I think is right because liars and thieves only hurt the rest of us.
After looking around for a while, I am glad to see that it is not just my star that has fallen so drastically overnight. I have not seen a single red or blue star this morning, so hopefully it is some sort of a myLot glitch, and it is fixed soon.

I know what you mean about the abuse thing. That is why I started actively reporting all of those who are openly abusing the site, and trying to get some of it cleaned up. I even started a blog to post those who are plagiarizing discussions. http://stopsiteabuse.blogspot.com/
Several of us are reporting them, and myLot is deleting these discussions. Unfortunately, there are those who want to rate all of our discussions negatively because they know that we report the plagiarizers.
My star has dropped a couple of points since I let people know I was doing this, but this drop was a bid drastic. I am glad to know it was not just me. Since I do not see anyone at myLot with anything higher than a yellow star today, I must assume that it must be a myLot thing. I have sent them a message, and I guess we will wait and see what they have to say.

I never knew that we can send messages to mylot. Now I guess that it should be the column Messages that we can write and send messages. How stupid and careless I have been without knowing this till now!

So it might be technically wrong for the star rating by mylot? I mean when you happened to have found that it was not just your star that had fallen so drastically overnight, and others as well.
Here I only know that we can donate the best response, but not give a worst response on mylot. I guess that maybe it has nothing to do with mylotters. If not, what can it be? Maybe like what you say, it is some sort of a mylot glitch. Anyway I am happy that it was fixed soon. Good day.

Right, when I first saw that my star had gone down so much I thought that someone had given me a lot of negative ratings to bring my star down so far, but then when I looked around, I saw that mine wasn't the only one. There were no 9s or 10s anywhere on the site. That was when I figured that it had to be some sort of glitch. I let myLot know and it was fixed a few hours later.

Yeah my 10 star rating has dropped to an 8 as well. I dont know what mylot is doing. It could be that the admin is deleting some discussions that dot follow the guidelines and if you happen torespond to a few you will not only loose money for it but you can also loose points.
Anything is possible.

Yup, they hit me too. I lost some points. My rating also went down. So much for my 97%! I am now down in the low 80's. Not sure what is going on here. I am a bit miffed. I haven't even been on here much in the past couple of weeks. Go figure!

You don't have a star rating (well your the first which one hasn't shown up)
Anyways, it doesn't mean someone doesn't like you. some just go down rating and others are just bullies who leach of greed and trying to make peoples lifes hell.

The stars have gone back to normal since I originally wrote this several weeks ago. At that time, none of us had a star higher than an 8 which was a drastic drop site wide. You are right though, there are many who are down rating others out of greed and such.

Went down from 9 to 8 here as well, but I don't really mind it. And heck, the golden star is much cooler anyways :D :P. Now who wants to be blue when you can have the golden-yellow ;).

My star is wend down too, it should be 10 but mine is 8 now.
Maybe myLot had problem or the restart all the star.
