do you think technology is getting cheaper because its quality is decreasing?

In the past, a simple blender that we have in our kitchens, lasted for 10, 20, 30 years, now they don't last for 2 years. Also today you see cars that are running since 10 years ago and had now problems, but you also see 2 month old cars that are already giving trouble.

perhaps it depends on people how they keep and use their things especially in that example of cars.what kind of blenders used to last 30 years the electricity using ones?I think know a days people tend to change their things more frequently than make effort to repair them.

i think technology is cheaper nowadays because it's way cheaper to produce it. now with a machine u can make 500000 items per hour in the blink of an eye, and not using any employee in the process.
