From the chart we can tell that ,in recent years ,more and more citizens are traveling abroad .In 1995 ,the number of people who close to travel abroad was about 10000.The number quadrupled to nearly 40000 in 2000. And in 2005,the number further climbed above 12000. There are several reasons for the shocking rise. To begin with ,the improvement of life standards makes traveling abrosd afforable to more and more people. Moreover, the convenient transportation facilities make more destinations accessible. The last but not the least, after visting mosot famous scenic spots throughout our country ,exotic cultures seem to appeal more to many citizens. And gradually ,they begin to treat traveling abrosd as a new fashion. This trend is benficial for people on the whole . On the one hand ,it is a very interesting and romantic way to spend one's vacation. On the other hand , is enlarges people's vision by having a look at what is going on in a different country.

I think it is wonderful that more people, are able to visit different countries. I think it makes them more tolerant of others. They learn about things first hand that previously they would have only ever seen in books. It is wonderful to snorkel in the warm waters of Australia's Great Barrier Reef. Seeing all the friendly fish and brightly coloured fish is an amazing experience. People can go on safari in Africa and see wild animals. This is far more exciting than going to a zoo. Seeing the golden pyramids of Egypt or the Great Wall of china are experiences that most people would treasure. Tourists spending money makes a difference to the lives of poor people in developing countries. I am very keen on travelling. I found it difficult to afford many trips in the late 1980s and early 1990s. But airlines increased in number and flight prices were reduced. Low cost airlines now give people the opportunity to fly from England to other places in Europe very cheaply indeed. Also long haul flights can be quite cheap. Scheduled airlines often have special offers from England to places like the USA, Australia and New Zealand. Charter airlines sell very cheap tickets to places like The Maldives, Brazil, Kenya and some of the islands in the Caribbean.

travelling to other countries has just simply become the fad because, travelling has become easy and comfortable. there were others before who can afford to go on travel but were constrained by the difficulties one will have to go through. once the countries opened their doors to travelers, they get to make available to travellers counters to help them out. with this help now at hand, traveling becomes easier and more enjoyable. with the word of mouth spreading on this regard, more and more people are being encourage to embark on sorts of travels.
