How do you deal with a spouse that snores so loudly he wakes you up? Any ideas? Please tell me there is a cure for snoring. We tried those little nose strips and they didn't work.

My husband snores every now and then. When he does I just have to shake him to make him roll over. I am a pretty light sleeper so it effects me a lot when he does. The people who make those strip things also make a liquid to help snoring. I just saw it today on the ole boob tube. May be that might help out those who have chronic snorers.

Me too! I am a very light sleeper, and pretty much have to sleep at the other end of the house so that I can simply fall asleep. LOL! I may look into getting the liquid. They are always coming out with new things. Thanks for your post.

I'm the snorer in my relationship. My poor hubby usually wakes me up and gets me to change position, and that will usually help for a little while. Since we work opposite schedules, we're really only sleeping at the same time on his days off now, so it's not as big a problem as it has been in the past. I didn't have much luck with those nose strip things either. =(

Oh, that is a good answer! And, if I were totally honest with myself, I think I'm a snorer too. I'm not sure and I have no definitive proof, but occasionally I will wake myself up with a good snort! He doesn't complain. But he does occasionally hint at the possibility that I might be snoring louder than him if i say something about his snoring. So, I don't address the issue that often.

My husband does snore sometimes. And he did wake me up especially when he started snoring. He didn't snore in the beginning when we got married. I guess this also comes with age. Well now I sort of got used to it. I have heard about the little nose strips but because he is not bothering me that much now we have not looked into it. I wish there was a simple natural way to get rid of it... Good luck!

My husband snores every night, and i can't stand it. I haven't found one thing that works either, the sure fire way to get them to stop is reach over and smack'em. I do this very softly to get him to to wake up, and tell him to stop snoring. If that doesn't help I just put a pillow on my face and his, its just no stopping it sometimes. I hope that you can find something to aid you in your snoring problem, let me know if you do please.

I can sympathize with you! Mine is just about the same. And, his snoring doesn't bother him, either. I think I'm a light snorer too. But, I am not sure. He won't give me a definitive answer on the subject. Sometimes I get so little sleep with all the snoring going on, it just makes me wake up tired.

The only way he wakes me up or keeps me from sleeping is if I wake up on my own or something. Thankfully, he doesn't snore that loud but I bet he'll tell you that I can wake up anyone in the house. The nose strips don't work for snoring in my opinion and we mainly use them if one of us has a cold and can't breathe through our nose. The only way I know to make them stop is to wake them up themselves, lol.

Of course, I envy your ability to sleep through anything. I'm the lightest sleeper you can imagine. And, I have two screaming cats and a stream of cars that go by on the nearby highway, so I've got a triple threat there. As far as your husband telling your snore secrets: well, spouses are so funny like that, aren't they. Sometimes they keep the most embarrasing things about us to themselves until they get an audience. Then, watch out. Thanks for your post.
