I am so disappointed now

We planned camping for this Memorial Day weekend; about this I posted a discussion also. But we had to postpone the program because of bad weather. There will be rain and thunder storm in these days, where we wanted to go for camping. As camping is all about outdoor activities, there will be no fun in that kind of weather. So we postpone the program for some other time. I am so disappointed by this. I really don’t like this when you plan everything and at the last moment you have to cancel the program. Did this happen to you that you planned everything and when time came you had to cancel the program or the trip because of some reason?

I would normally be headed to the beach but i can't seem to get stuff out of the way, so it looks like I'll be here in town for the holiday, Darn It! Oh well, I'll just have to go some other time, I know how you feel, sweetlady! :( Here's something to cheer you up: http://www.sweetlady.youaremighty.com and some recipes to have fun with: http://www.recipezaar.com/recipes/food-processor-blender I love camping but it's better to be safe weather-wise, especially with the crazy storms we've been having lately! Cheers! :)

I also hate it whe this happens but i guess we have to think about this happeing when we are planning something that is depending on the weather- What we usually do though is that we always have a backup plan, incase there will be rain. this way we will always get to do soemthing planned =)

Well that stinks. I hate it when the weather is uncooperative. I love camping but I've done it in the rain and if you don't have tarps and or canopies to sit under, staying in your tent or cabin is boring after a while. We are supposed to have good weather Saturday and Sunday but thunderstorms on Monday. I don't have any big plans so this year it won't bother me if it rains. Sorry you had to postpone your trip.

Well I'm so sorry, that really does suck very bad. I love to go camping and if i have to put it off I get really upset too. I hope the weather will clear up soon for you so you can go. When you get back feel free to let us know how things go, I love to hear about different camping experiences. I hope when you go you have a blast! Take care, and have a great day :)

I remember you were excited about that. I'm sorry you had to cancel, but I can think of worse. When I was a teenager, our church youth group planned a camping trip. The day we were to leave, it was raining. No one wanted to go, but the leaders were convinced the rain would stop. Well, it didn't. After our tents flooded, we spent the night in the church van - all of us. I wish we hadn't gone! lol

I almost had to cancel going to a birthday BBQ but they took the rain out of the forscast. Everytime I went camping as a girl scout it rained. One of the last times , it rained on the way to the camping site.

yes, it happend to me all the time that is why i dont like planning stuff because alot of time it never turn out the way i want it to be and i end up getting upset or really disppointed, so whenever i want to do stuff i go and do it, that way less disppointment. but also it is hard on the planning with work.

I'm sorry about that. It is a three day weekend in the United States, isn't it? You must have really been looking forward to it. I remember hearing about all those boy scouts that were killed by lightening a couple of years ago while camping though, so I am sure it is better that you keep yourselves safe rather than take any unnecissary risks. Hopefully there will be another weekend that you can do your program. I don't do much camping, and when I have I have been lucky that the weather was always on my side, so I've never had to cancel a trip. I would also be dissapointed though because I amsure a great deal of preperation must go into it.

ya it happens to most of the people once in their life coming to me once when we planned to go to beach wit all our friends suddenly rain started and spoiled our plan. All were disappointed badly and the programme was postponed for next week and half of the people lost the intrest in visiting it again.

Hmmm.. Yeah, I remember we were supposed to go to a beach at our place, then suddenly it started to pour. It was really exasperating cause we got everything set, the food, the car, and everybody was there... it was like a reunion. Then suddenly the weather begins to mess up. *sigh* My grandmother suggested we just dont go cause of the bad weather... but we went anyways. hehehe.
