Dream Matches

What would be some of dream matches that you would like to or would have liked to have seen? It can involve any stars, past or present that's wrestled in WWE at one time or another. One def. bout for sure I would have liked to have seen would have been Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Hulk Hogan. You have Hulk Hogan who has been called the Babe Ruth of wrestling and brought it up in the 1980s. He was also a key component in WCW's rise with the nWo storyline when it was just starting out. Some of his most famous feuds would be against Andre The Giant, M$M, Macho Man Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Roddy Piper to name a few. He's had 6 WWE Title reigns and 1 tag title reign teaming with now World Heavyweight Champion Edge. In WCW, he won the WCW title 6 or 7 times depending on how you look at it. I say 7 sometimes considering the last bout was the infamous Bash at the Beach incident. For those who don't know, it was Hogan vs. Jarrett for the title and Hogan won via Jarrett laying down. Russo comes out and cuts a shoot promo on Hogan and takes it away. Recently with this new AWA, he was recognized as a 2 time AWA Champion. Stone Cold Steve Austin in a baseball analogy could be similiar to either the Roger Marris or Hank Aaron of wrestling. He had a lot more PPVs and a weekly show like Monday Night Raw or Raw is War as it was known at the time. He has won the WCW US, TV, and Tag Titles when he was Stunning Steve Austin. He was fired over the phone by Bischoff. It was said he wasn't "marketable." Later, he went to ECW. While not winning a title there, he did work on his character that would slowly get to Stone Cold Steve Austin. When he became apart of the WWF now WWE, it was his most famous route. He won the WWF Tag Team Titles 4 times, WWF IC Title 2 times, and WWF Title 6 times. He is also the only man to have run the Royal Rumble as of 2007 3 times. It's an interesting tale of the tape though there's a lot more info on that I could have gone into but wanted to mainly point out championships. I think a bout like that could seriously go in either direction. If there were 2 bouts, 1 for Hogan and 1 for Austin. Either way, in fans eyes neither would lose anything, least not to me personally.

I have a lot of matchups in mind that I could only imagine, well some of these might have materialize, but I would like them to have been highlighted more: 1. Hogan vs Ultimate Warrior - these guys just had a short stint of rivalry. it culminated in wrestlemania 6 and never reoccurred. It would have been a great rivalry 2. Brock lesnar vs Goldberg (again) - the first and last time this 2 fought, Brock was leaving and therefore just fooling around with his last bought, not unleashing the Brock character that would have been a match with Goldbrg's character. It would have been a rivalry of epic proportions 3. Batista vs Ultimate Warrior - power vs power 4. you could mix a matchup among Ultimate Warrior, Brock, Goldberg, Batista -although Batista (then called Leviathan) fought Brock in a local wrestling match 5. HHH vs Ultimate Warrior - when these two met in one of the ppv matches, warrior simply defeated hunter in less than a minute. i'd love to see how they would match when hhh is at his prime 6. Bret vs Austin - the last time they fough, Austin is not yet the Austin everybody feared having to be in the ring with. Id love to see them fight both at their prime 7. The Rock vs Orton - both wear the same cocky attitude, with some similar styles. Built and athleticism-wise, they are even. When Orton was one of the good guys, he challenged and trash-talked HHH like only the Rock can... 8. Andre vs Giant Gonzale vs Khali vs Big Show - let's see who's the real wrestling giant! 9. Undertaker vs Sting - let's see who's who. Sting was at some point imitating the gimiks of the Phenom. Or sometimes doing styles that would better fit the Phenom than himself. Sorry for those who would be offended, im a Taker fan. =) 10. Austin vs Sting - both are tough SOBs. It wuld be interesting to see how they throw their character at each other

They did the Hogan/Warrior 2 match at Halloween Havoc in WCW '98. Ironically, that was Warrior's last match. Some of the other matches would be interesting to watch no questions asked.
