Anyone have hibiscus in their garden/

am i right when i say that this discussion does not belong in this categorey i mean they do have different categories on mylot for a reason...to separate the different topics of each discussion and i am quite surprised that more people have not said so themselves...but i am not afraid to speak my mind and that is why i marked this duscussion as negative but in answer to your question yes i do have a hibiscus in my garden it is just a small one only about one and a half feet tall and the same around the width

I read in a nother post that these kind of flowers are not good with cold wather. So no they wouldn't survive in my garden.

I have 3 different Hibiscus plants right now and love them. Hibiscus and Lilies are my two favorite flowers. I plant all my Hibiscus in pots, because I like to bring them into the house during the winter. I have a red flower hibiscus which I have had about 2 years. It blooms really well, but the foliage just isn't as thick as I would like, I really need to find out what I can do to work on it. This year I bought a beautiful orange/yellow flowering hibiscus tree and it is doing beautifully so far this year! I just recently bought a baby hibiscus plant off of ebay. I was a bit leary about buying a plant off of ebay, but it arrived in great shape last week, and the first flower bloomed this morning, it is a bluish shade of flower. Gorgeous!
