My daughter is currently teething but as yet there are no teeth, she has been teething for about 2 months now, poor little thing, I saw a photo the other day and a baby had no front teeth but all of the teeth around it, did your baby get its front teeth first or did it get the teeth around it first? I think my daughter may be getting the teeth around her front ones and also what age did they get their teeth, my daughter is 7 months old with no teeth

Mine got her front two bottom teeth first. She had been eating a lot of chicken, so maybe thats why they came in first. Not sure. Some of the last teeth to come in were the sharp teeth at the sides and she got a really high fever over those. Every kid is different when it comes to teeth. And, the bad part is, then they all have to come out to be replaced by the big teeth. I am not looking forward to that!

I think my son was around 5 months old when he got his first teeth, he cut the two front ones on his bottom gum first. My mother said I cut mine at 6 weeks. My niece cut hers around 9 months-so every baby is different!

Mitchell currently has no teeth at 6 months but everyone seems to think he's teething - mind you they've been telling me this for months but I can't feel anything in there! Hayden got 4 teeth all at once and another 2 in the following few weeks but he didn't get any until after his first birthday! Sorry I can't remember which ones first! From memory the first teeth to come through on nearly all babies are the 6 or so at the front on both top and bottom. Doesn't mean that the middle ones will come through first though. Everyone is different and some babies teeth get close to the surface and then sort of retract back for awhile. I feel sorry for babies - i thought it was bad enough dealing with wisdom teeth coming through nevermind getting a whole mouth of them at once!!

My daughter got her first tooth at 10.5 months. It was her top left. The next one was just about a week ago, the bottom right... they're "supposed to" get them in side-by-side pairs, as in, her other top tooth should have been next, but it wasn't. She looks like a jack-o-lantern. She had teething pain from 3 months off and on, so sometimes it takes quite a while.
