What are some of your favorite childhood memories?

When I was growing up money was really tight. There were 5 kids and 2 parents. With 2 of us needing medical care a lot. But I remember dad would save up money for vacation. He usually had a week off. They would buy bread, cheese, lunchmeat, chips and sodas. Then we would drive through the country and find a place to picknick. It was great.

I had a great childhood, I had a make believe shop in the shed at one end and a big blackboard at the other end, so I would collect all empty boxes for my little shop, and play school teacher with all my dolls and then on some days I would be riding around the back lanes of my neighbourhood on my three wheeler bike, I love my childhood, no computers in those days....
