First steps!

My daughter just took her first steps today! She's 11 months old. I've known she was capable for a while, because she walked with her shopping cart that offers NO support, but I thought she'd still be too chicken for a while. But she's been taking a few steps here and there all day. Woo!
How old were your kids when they started walking?

Awww...that's adorable! How exciting! My daughter took her first steps when she was 11 months old. She had been cruising around furniture for a while. One night we were in her room playing and all of a sudden she took a couple of steps to try to get to me. I got so excited and started yelling through the house for my fiance to come see what she had done.
