Is Credit card compulsory for using a paypal.

Dear friends, actually i have signed up paypal for sending / receiving money through emails. but i dont have credit card to add my account. Is it possible for me to use paypal without having a credit card.?I have to add money in my paypal account.But it is difficult for me..Kindly anyone help me regarding this....

You can also just use you bank account. I have a credit card already on there, but to get paid from here I had to add my bank account. So in answer to your question...no you don't need a credit card. You just have to add your banking details.
