Photography at its best

The Innocence of a Child - This is my niece looking for sea shells. Edited in an Adobe Photoshop using brownie effects. Taken in Maramig, Aklan and by a Sony Cybershot Digicam.

I love taking pictures and turn them into black and white or any other effect that matches it. I use Adobe Photoshop CS for editing. Attached is a pic of my niece looking for sea shells by the sea. I love this stolen pic of him. I dunnoh but for me there's a little innocence that this picture depicts just like the innocence of the child of this picture withholds, doesn't it? :)

Thanks a lot, jayant, for ALWAYS appreciating my piece of art. Hehehe. So you're a web designer? Wow! That's cool! We had a subject of web designing back in college but I haven't learned much from it. Sadly. Maybe because I was more interested in talking to my seatmate than listening to our professor. Hahaha. I was such a bad student back then. Hehe. Anyways, I admire you for at least being able to design a web page. Care to share a sample of it?

This is a very nice picture you took, I would like to say I agree with chichong, remove the date. First of all if you ever want to enlarge and frame a picture the date showing ruins the effect of the shot. One day someone might want to purchase a photo from you and you NEVER see professional photos showing the date, it takes away from the message in the picture and the beauty your trying capture. I also take pictures and I date the folder where I store them in my computer.

Hi there, Howard! Yeah, I also read chichong's comment and I am considering to take his advice and yours too. Maybe in the next picture, I'll remove the date. Anyways, as I had replied to chichong, there's a reason why I didn't take away the date in my photos. But after reading your comments guyz, I think I'm gonna really have to omit the date. You're right Howard, there's never really a date in the professional photos. And if I want to be a "professional" in my own terms, think I should start removing the date as well. Hehehe. Thanks a lot Howard for the advice!

I really admire people who really gives way to nurture their interests. I love photography too but I just don't have time to indulge because I am so busy doing a lot of things. Sometimes I regret not taking any pictures of some scenes that I find interesting. More power to your photography!

Hi there! Thank you. Know what? You don't really have to indulge much of your time taking photos. In my case, as much as possible I always bring a camera with me especially if we go out of town or if we go to a beach or just any place, even in malls. We'll never know if we're gonna encounter a moment worth capturing at the place we're gonna visit. And I tell you, there are a lot of moments worth taking a shot around you. You just have to look around and widen your imagination. Thanks a lot girl for the comment. You gotta try your own shots too. Live your dream, take a little in your interests. :)

It is a very good photo. I am not very artistic and find the brownie effect makes it look a lot colder. Just a comment on the English language if you don't mind me trying to help: niece is for girls so since he is a boy he is your nephew. Otherwise your English is very good better than my typing!

I am so glad you did not mind. We all make mistakes about things when we are in a rush. I try and correct my typing before posting but usually make an awful mess as I am going along.

I used to check my typing before I post it but now, I don't anymore. I am really always in rush now. And it consumes some time. Hehehe. I believe that everybody should take criticisms to improve themselves. :)

Oh my gosh! That "niece" above there in my post must really have escaped me. I know the difference of the words "niece" and "nephew" but then doing two things at the same time must really have gotten in between! Fyi, I'm here in my office SUPPOSEDLY doing office works (haha!) and so my attention is really divided. Anyways, thanks a lot for your correction and for your comments on the photo. Keep posting dude! :)

I love you picture. I envy you because you could tinker with photoshop CS. I wish I could do the same. I have always wanted to enroll in a tutorial class but I just couldn't save up money for it and could not find time. Anyway, you have a talent my dear. Go on and continue your craft, I think you are going to earn big with it someday. Wish you all the best.

On the second thought, learning photoshop CS would somehow take my time away from myLot ha ha ha. Seriously, I'd give it a shot, though. It's just that you need to be really patient and diligent to learn all those strokes and layers and filters and all. Thanks for your advice, I might just become your competitor someday ha ha ha. Regards.

Photography - It was taken at the farm at the back of our land. I am with my cousins. I use my tripod to capture my prefered angle. I like it. I hope you like it too.
I also love taking stolen pics.. it always fulfils me as a photographer to capture the natural scene. Nice work. Keep it up. I also have my favorite photo. I uploaded it here:

I saw your pic! It's great and I rated it. I can see that it's un-edited, am I right? Anyways, how are you able to post a picture in your comments? How come that I can't do it? I wanted to post the original pic here but there's just no option to add image. Could you help me out with this? Thanks in advance.

Hi there, Sir Bobby! I am, for your information, the actual photographer of that shot. And it's my nephew over there looking for some sea shells. I admire the shot that I got there and made some minor revision: I just changed the colored picture into a brownie one. I dunnoh but I like black and white pictures over colored one but it's actually a case-to-case basis. And for the shot that I got there, I prefered using the brownie effect. Thank you. :)

I like the picture by the way the darks blend from lighter to darker! When you say photoshop it sounds like the picture has been edited, i would like to see some of your pictures in their natural without editing! Take care Rojane.

Hello there! You're right that when we said Photoshop, it would also mean that the pic was edited. But in this picture, I only edited the color. And if only I could attach 2 pictures in a discussion, I would've attached the original as well so you can see the difference. Maybe next time I will post an un-edited picture here. Thanks for the comment! :)

Hey the photograph is taken well and the filter added to it looks very apt.I use CS too for editing phonographs. Its a great software to work with. Hi Rojane, Your photo is very nice but I agree that the date is not the best thing in there. Wha you don not use a digital signature like a lot of photographers are doing. Just an advice.

I have always enjoyed taking pictures of a child. Some times it is difficult to capture the mood I would like to because children, by nature, are very unstable. But, if you can, the results are generally good. You have captured the mood of the child whois totally engrossed in her hobby. I have seen the photo from close and left a comment there. Keepp doing and analysing. It helps.
