"The Memory Keeper's Daughter" is a good book, but the end gets a bit predictable. The writing is really good though. I would like to finish "Fast Food Nation" this summer as well as maybe re-reading some favorites such as Madame Bovary.

You sound a lot like me. I am interested in reading The Memory Keeper's Daughter and Marian Keyes as well. You'll have to let me know how the first one is after you finish it! :) As far as my actual list, I don't really have one. I have so many books that I have bought and not yet read, because I just keep buying them faster than I can read them! Lol so this summer I will be trying to catch up on those. But mostly I will be reading chick lit.

I simply have a box (well it's down to half full now actually) of mainly chick lit but some horror books that i bought at car boots and such like a few summers ago that i want to just read and then get rid of (ie to family/friends or a charity shop as they were only cheap). I'm slowing working my way through them all, i really need the space back in my house!

I think I've read something by Marian Keyes. I'm not sure. Anyway, my book list for the summer has over two-hundred titles. I doubt I can read all of them but what the heck. Here are some I'm going to read this summer. All of Terry Pratchett's books Pride and Prejudice (For my Lit. Class) Atlas Shrugged by Ann Rand And probably a few books by Milan Kundera (if my sister lets me borrow them)

I just started 'Lord of Emperors' by Guy Gavriel Kay. Its book 2 of a 2-book series. After that, I'll try to find 'Judas Unchained' by Peter F Hamilton (another book 2 of a 2-book series) and books 2 and 3 of the 'Night's Dawn' trilogy, also by Hamilton. Somewhere in there I'll likely read the last Harry Potter book. And if George R R Martin ever publishes the next book in the 'Song of Ice and Fire' series, I'll read that too. If there's time left over, I'll re-read the Dune series, ending with the new ones written by Brian Herbert.

My reading list is just in the begining stages. On the top of the list of course is the new Harry Potter book. Right now I am reading Bury my heart at wounded knee again. There is a new Shopaholic book I need to read also.
