Sure I"m an old man, but it"s never to late to start something new. I"m in the process of starting a woodworking business, I"ve completed several pieces, curently I"m making a nite stand out of cherry inlayed with an exotic wood.

No matter how old you are, it's never too late to start a new hobby, interest or even career if you so choose. Good on you for starting something as fun and rewarding as woodworking. I did woodwork for a year at school when the other girls in my year were doing needlework and cookery and thoroughly enjoyed it. Good luck with the night stand, I'm sure it'll turn out just great, maybe you can put a picture up of it here when you're finished? x

Good for you!!! My step-father has a little workshop where he does stuff like that just for fun. My sister's sister-in-law does wood-burning, and stuff like that in her little workshop. She's quite the artist. My step-dad used to be old order Mennonite, and believe me, he knows about building furnature.
