what is your secret to watch horror films with eyes wide open??

my secret is I don't focus to the movie, I see it but it's like I'm focussing to the EXIT.hahahaha.. it makes my friends believe I'm not afraid in watching horror movies, but the fact is I'm scared.. hahahahaa..

hi there. :) i do love horror films a lot even though im a big chicken. but there;s one thing that is so ironic. i cant keep my eyes open whenever i know that a scary part of the movie is coming. its as if i just automatically shut my eyes closed. lolz. :)

LOL...what's the point of watching a horror movie if you are afraid of watching it? Poor friend, but i don't blame you. you can't explain this. your love of horror movie makes you want to watch it. but your fear of watching scary parts makes you close your eyes. so, just enjoy it this way. after all, it's just a movie. (some people watch horror movie like watching news on TV..LOL....like me..)

There is a scene in tom & jerry... where tom uses toothpick to keep his eyes open :P... anyway you should try to see this kind of movies with somebody you like, a nice guy that you thrust... and stay close to him... if you still can't keep the eyes open, may be something else will happen...:)

Ijust get a saying in my head, 'its not real it is just a movie' . I keep saying it over and over. And during those really scary scenes where I want to close my eyes but am afraid of missing out, I try and remind myself something else the actor or actress is doing right now, like a recent movie or tabloid headline, to keep the images from becoming too real. But that makes a good scary film if you have to close your eyes or look away.
