Why parrot has red beaks-Does anybody know?

Hi!
does anybody know why Parrot has red beaks? I dont know but I want to know it from my childhood. I love Parrot from childhood and I had many as pet, they were freed when I moved away. I still remember them and I still love them. I want to know what is the reason behind the color of their beaks. I also have anothet question. We cant eat red chili but Parrot eat hot red chili. Actually they enjoy it and still stay so cool!!! Why? If anybody knows about this then post it. That will be good.

Well all parrots do not have red beaks. Some have black beaks like macaws or horn colored beaks like lovebirds. The birds in your picture are not parrots but softbills. To be classified as a parrot, a bird must have a "hookbill". It really depends on the species of bird as to what color beak it has.

Hi!
I didnt add any picture. may be it was there in my interest catagory. I only had red beaks parrot whom I watched very closely for long. But I want to know the actual reason behind the color. I think its due to some special compound present in it. I stil expect some specific answer.

well i cant give you the specific compound for a red beak that you are looking for..sorry lol!
but as for parrots loving hot chilies..thats because parrots dont have a strongly developed sense of taste. (tastebuds) humans have around 9000 tastebuds on their tongue..a parrot only has about 350 or so.
so something that has too strong of a taste for us..is something a parrot is finally getting a good taste of.

even i love parrots a lot
thry really look so pretty i have 2 parrots in my home when im small i used 2 ask the same question 2 every one i resived several ansers like1 god created it lik that god want it to look pretty so he gave it a red beak
2 bakt is likmouth 2 parrots our lips r red in the same way parrot beak is red
5 it bites all fruits with its beak so its beak got hrt and gone red
