Yahoo Messenger or AIM?

I never realized but every day when I log in to my computer I always login into both Yahoo Messenger and AIM. But a lot of people don't use both, so I'm just wondering what everyone uses as there instant messenger? or which one they like better? I liek AIM better because there's just a lot more of my friends and family on it. I think that's the big reason a lot of people use it.

Actually I use both.I have some friends on MSN and some on AIM so i usually have them both on or at least im on invisable so I can get some work done and if I want to chat I can.I use Aim most often as thats where my daughter is on and so we can chit chat anytime but I think MSN is the better messenger I just tend to like the layout better.

actually i use both(ym and aim)....im a chatter n ym..but if you ask which is better...the answer is ym...know why?first ym emoticons looks best rather than aims emoticons.. 2nd in ym you can choose call or conference but in aim theres no call or conference...3rd on ym before people can add you... you will receive a confirmation if you want to add this person or not...on aim if people want to add you its automatic...fhunter i dis agree what you have said many people dont use ym.thats not true...there 20000+ people using ym and 10000+ for aim..
