honest criticism is hard to take.

It's actually very hard to take honest criticism especially from a relative, an acquaintance or a stranger.
I do refer to such criticism(S) as cotructive which is to put one in the right path.
how do you take or react to criticisms?

I think I handle constructive criticism well if it is given in a positive manner. I react to it kindly and accept what is given. If it is said negatively and involves name calling, then I tend to react badly and give them a peice of my mind and in a very stern voice too.

I work in a portion of the entertainment industry. Many, MANY people try to break into this industry and are not able to. My closest friend took time off before finishing his current degree. Mind you, e got a great scholarship on the school, but I feel that they have truly failed to train him for the job he wants to get in this industry.
