have u set notofication on for all?

In your mylot friendlist have to set notification on for all of your friends or only for a fww? till few days back, for me it was notifiaction off for all. But now i have started putting it on for few.In this case i can see their discussion at a go and can answer too. But its too taking lot of time in mylot. Can u suggest how can i put notification on for more than one at a go?
