I have been trying to lose weight for a long time now, and the main problem I have been having is trying to think of things that are good for me when I'm cooking. I am a pretty active person, but I think that if I changed my diet maybe that would help. I have tried this before, but all of the cookbooks and recipes that i have found require i go buy expensive ingrediants, and with my income, I can't really afford it. So if anyone could give me a few pointers that would be awesome and greatly appreciated. :D thank you ~Tye~

Take one jug of water in the morning. Start by taking light exercises or a morning walk. Take more salads.\ Go down on butter/ghee. Take dinner at 7 PM. See the results after one month,

I am also trying to eat well in an affordable way. One thing I do it "shop the sales" on healthy items. If chicken is on sale I grab an extra package and freeze it for later. Same with frozen veggies. While fresh is the best, frozen veggies can be stir-fried or roasted. They are also convenient, since you don't have to worry about them going bad as much. Brown rice is affordable and very good for you. You can have with steamed veggies and a bit of meat or fish is you like....Sometimes I just like the veggies and rice though. Check out the Asian section of your store, you can find some really fun sauces there. Hope this was a help...good luck!

that's really good advice. i try to get out and get the food on sale as often as i can, but I'm usually not the one doing the shopping. I'll have to make a note of it so they can start picking up some things that may help.
