Do we have time for ourself??

I was thinking about how we spend our entire life in taking up new responsibilities on every step of our life. It goes like this......we are born and then as soon as we grow a little old we have the responsibility of studying so that we get into some good university. After getting into the university, it comes to getting the degree from there with good marks again to get some good job so that we start making some good earning. After we get a job, its time to marry and then take up the responsibility of our life partner. After that it comes up to taking the responsibility of our kids. Then after that we become old. Where did we live for ourself?? We never did anything that would count for ourself. Do you agree with it that life goes like this for everyone??

Actually, we have. Love yourself before you love anyone. May be you think that you spend mist of your time for someone else, but in the same times, you spend that times for yourself too.

Its like the Newton's Third law......"Every force has an equal and opposite reaction." I think this is what you are saying. You do your work for someone but it is actually for yourself. Right??

no I don't agree, when you go out with your friends, to a movie, a dinner, a dance, a vacation, a yoga class, an art class outside of school, a sports game, a long bath with a good book, going to the beach, sunbathing in your back yard, gardening, playing on the computer, singing in a choir, having tea with a friend, reading a book that has nothing to do with work or school, watching tv listening to music, jogging taking a nice walk by yourself or with your dog, you are doing things for yourself. there are so many different ways to do things for yourself.

I might sound negative........but we do all these things to relax ourselves from the daily duties we have to follow.

I would have to agree with this theory that we are always so busy with others that often we don't have much time for ourselves and the more you have going on in your life the more chaotic it is going to be . I know it is hard to get time to myself when there are seven of us living in the household and there is always someone visiting and staying with us . We have five children and they each have things that need to be done so between getting one thing done and driving them here and there , it does not leave much time to myself but I wouldn't change it for anything in the world . I do think that we get the chance to do something that would count for ourselves though and even if we don't have the time to do it for ourselves then someone else will do something nice so we do get some time , even if not a lot of it .

Life can be like this, but doesn't have to be. Even though you may spend your years like this, it doesn't mean that you have to spend all of your time within these years like this. I know that when my kids were small I felt that I had no time to myself. I found that I had to take a little time for myself once in a while in order to be a better parent to them. The same is true of anything. No matter how much you love your children, your husband, your education, your job, or whatever, taking a break to do something for yourself once in a while will do wonders for you.

I have less time for myself nowadays. I'm kinda busy with other things lately. I wish to give myself a treat sometime. A body spa or massage will do.. ^_*

So basically you are trying to say that whatever we do, it is indirectly for the benefit of ourselves....right??
