Hi,
TIME MACHINE the movie is a good one time watch.
As for time travel, in theory it is possible but the biggest constraint today is the amount of energy needed to generate speed of light.
Particle accelerators can achieve light speed but only to accelerate atom and particles.
Today it is physically impossible to accelerate a human being, unless the physical matter can be converted into atomic form just like star trek transport.
