Who do you think is a living legend or a person of great character?

If you could pick one person who is alive today and who you believe is truly special who would you pick? The person could be famous or not but explain why you have chosen this person and how they have inspired you, if at all. My vote is for Ellen Macarthur, she is truly special. She is someone who pushes boundries and is always looking to go one step forever and progress with everything she does. It takes great courage and heart to spend so much time out at sea on your own and it must be so physically and mentally exhausting, and for one person to do what she does is truly incredible. So, thats my choice but who is yours?
