Morning, i read a report about why marriage can be a chore for women. "When a woman is single, ironing, cleaning, cooking, and other duties take up about ten hours a week. But after they are married, or have simply moved in with a boyfriend, they typically do 15hours of housework every week," according to a report in the latest edition of Economic Journal. "For men, the effect is oppsite. Before getting married or starting to cohabit, they do an average of seven hours' housework a week. Afterwards-that drops to five hours." scientists discovered recently that men could live longer if they did more chores, hiding away from household duties and shirking childcare can even lead to them 'dying of boredom' Research shows that getting married prompts a 50 per cent increase in housework. Now, women who hate housework, but cannot persuade their husbands or boyfriends to do it, could be helped by one compelling argument. For what do you waiting now? Come on, tell your partner.

I am living with the same man for over a year.We are now married. He washes his own clothes and somtimes mine. I cook dinner for my 21 year old son and him everyday. They come come at 3pm and I have dinner ready for them. Then I pick up kids that I babysit at 6pm.They both make sure dishes are washed before the kids arrive. They know I have to fix 2 dinners. So I feel that my housework has decreased since I now stay at home and work.Maybe it is because I make more money working at home.I do not know.Or maybe they just like the idea idea of having dinner ready for them everyday.

I want to get married. I love my bf and he loves my too. He does more housework than me, so I don't care about it at all. He is diligent boy, and I'm a lazy girl. But he wants to marry me as soon as possible, although I don't like do housework. When you really love someone, you don't care about her/his faults at all. I love him, too, so I will do housework as much as possible. Now I have no job in real life and he has to work from 8:00 to 18:00, so I am glad do some housework, because he will smile to me when he find the house is clean and tidy.
