Alien - The pioneer ot the modern scifi horror movie?

I first find out Alien when it was published as a graphic novel. When I was a young boy I was an avid comics fan. First I was introduced to Alien comics in early 80's. The movie has influenced some of my drawings too. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078748/

nice drawings... I am not really a big fan of Alien...but I enjoyed the third Alien movie...it was awesome

Many are welcome to disagree with me but I think it was The Thing, a movie that was made in the 1950's and it starred James Arness... The tale was about an alien creature whose ship had crashed on Earth somewhere in the Arctic Circle... All hell breaks loose when an expedition encounters this shape-shifting and seemingly indestructable dude... Way ahead of it's time...
