I realized that many of the local acquaintances and friends that we made were when we went out for a walk. I love to walk with my wife and on our way we would meet somebody, reciprocate greetings, share some words and doing it repeatedly made those people our friends in a way. Some times a persons turns out to be very close who just met on our way. Do you have some similar experiences? do you find walk as one of the means of social connections?

Yes, i find walk as one of the means of connecting socially. We could always meet a lot of good people and good walkers as well on the street. In fact, i met a lot friends and we're still close to each other from just on the street. And aside from taking a walk to initiate social connection, its a great exercise coupled with wearing a smile. It stimulates our body nerves and helps it become healthy.

It's really good to chit chat with neighbors while going on walk or catch up on things with other friends or the people we know. Some times the latest information about local issues/problems comes that way. so for me it has been a source of information too:-) Thanks for sharing, mrsbrian!, I appreciate:-)
