I remember the show but I don't think that I ever really watched it and I know that I never dressed like that. I think I was a little too old when it came out to dress like her. She was popular and it seemed as though many people did follow her fashion sense from what I remember.

I so loved this show when i was growing up. I am 2 months and 3 days younger than Soleil, and for this fact when i was 8,9,10,11 i looked up to her immensely, lol. In my young naive mind she was like my older sister. I would rush home from school just to watch her for 20 minutes or however long that days episode was.I know,to look back on it now i think to myself, WHY???? Punky/Soleil touched many hearts i think. I know she did mine. My children now love her to bits as i did after i bought the first three seasons and from the first moment i put the dvd in the player my eldest(who's 9) never took her eyes of the screen. Nowadays i am friends with Cherie Johnson. We talk on a regular basis, and she is so like her character, so down-to-earth and funny.Shes my boo, lol.

It wasn't my favorite show, but I enjoyed watching it. She was so cute. Have you guys seen her recently? I was watching some program and she was on there and she is beautiful! You would have never known that such a dorky but cute kid would grow up to be so pretty. It's like the ugly ducking that became a beautiful swan. But anyways, that show was cute and I really liked watching it. I wonder if the actor that played her adoptive father is still alive. I don't even know his name.

I loved the show, too. The father was played by George Gaynes, who portrayed Commandant Eric Lassard in the "Police Academy" movies. He is currently alive at age 91.

I used to dress like Punky Brewster too. =P I remember loving to watch that show. I would get so excited when it came on that I would actually put the book I was reading down (which was rare). People who knew me used to know when I was in a particularly playful mood because I would be dressed like her, and they would say "Here comes Punky Brewster again."

That was my favorite show as a kid. I had the little Punky Brewster outfit, I loved it, the cartoon and the sitcom. The girl who was Punky was on Sabrina the Teenage witch, That is when I started to remember it when they mentioned she was Punky Brewster. I loved that show as a kid.

I remember punky, although I didn't watch it much. Where is she now I wonder? All grown up and probably in rehab like some of these other stars.

I love Punky Brewster, havent had a chance to buy her dvds as of yet, I love the show too much. I was called Punky BRewster as I had the same outfit as her and also I had my hair the same way. Though I have no kids I wish I could go back to them old days!
