why do people get really mad when they or someone has got ther socks inside out if they are odd.I just don't understand why do people get so irate about a pair of socks.I came in last night and my mum goes well what an idiot you look like then dont you?and i said what do you mean?look at you im ashamed that my son has got a hole in his socks.i looked down at my feet and i had the tiniest hole in my sock.so i said to mum its only a sock and she said don't give me check boy.what's your opinion on socks then should they really be that fussed about?

HOw old is your mum? Is she geting to the almost senile stage? Many people as they age find themselves reacting to thngs that they may have said or done or reacted to in younger years. Is holey socks a bad status symbol in your area? Maybe she is afraid people will think you do not take care of yourself or your things if you have holey socks and ultimately thinks it will reflect back to her. Personally I hate holey socks and will not weart them. They are uncomfortable and can result it painful rubbing of the shoes on the foot. Time to throw away and invest in new or give to mum to sew and make her feel needed.

My mom is the same way. But I must admit I can stand to have holes in my socks. Once I get a hole the sock gets thrown out. The thing that bothers my mom is that I will wear any socks. I don't care if they match or not. For instance, right now I'm wearing a pink and white striped ankle sock with a blue regular sock.
I don't really care. I mean I wear them to keep my feet warm I don't wear tham to be fashionable. And why are people staring at my feet anyways? lol
