Is there a food that you would never, ever cook?

There are some foods that I will always stay away from cooking. I think its because of the gross factor. I also think its because I don't know how to cook them. For example, I will never cook pork or beef because I don't eat these meats. I find that these meats are gross to handle and I rather not try to cook them. How about you? Are there any foods you refuse to cook? Why?

I don't have any such food which I don't want to cook. But i don't like cooking preserved foods. Specially canned fish. I think they don't taste like the fresh ones and stinks more. But i love to cook all types of meats and veg too.

There are several things that I won't cook. Anything with spinach in it is one. The smell of cooked spinach literally makes me throw up. Luckily my husband doesn't like it when it's cooked either, so we are good to go. I don't cook fish either, mostly for the same reason. My husband does eat it when we eat out, but if he's eating it at home, it's just fish sticks. Most of the other things that he likes, and I don't, I still go ahead and cook for him, though.

I wouldn't cook any meat at all as I just think it is too cruel to eat them. I have been known to cook vegetarian food rather than just vegan but it is very rare.

I refuse to cook fish. I have never had to skin or take out the bones and scales and prepare a fish ever in my life. It also has a very strong smell. I have cooked frozen fish filets or fish sticks, and that is not so bad, but it grosses me out sometimes to watch someone doit. Also my kids complain and freak out if they smell fish. One of my kids has even thrown up. Very dramatic, but true.

I love fish, but it can get a bit smelly when it cooks. I usually just open the window and turn on the fan. thanks for your response.

I am a vegetarian, however, I don't refuse to cook meat. This is because my boyfriend (who I live with) eats meat, and I'd rather cook the meat properly for him, as he isn't a very skilled chef. However, I wouldn't cook meat for anyone else. x

I would have to say that I'll never make REAL sushi/sashimi. I don't eat fish, and plus, it seems like something you need expertise to make. However, that won't stop me from trying to make an awesome california roll.

There are a few things that I wouldn't cook. The top one would be chitlins which are pig intestines in case you don't know, another would be fish because I can't bring myself to touch them and veal and that's because I can't eat a baby cow even though I like beef. I think that's it for now. lol

I don't think I could ever make liver and onions. It looks disgusting, smells disgusting, and you know what they say... if it walks like a duck, talks like a duck... so I'm sure it tastes disgusting too!
