This is something new I have just made. I haven't a picture just yet but hope to soon. I hope that you will enjoy. THanks for reading this. 2 tsp. Petroleum Jelly 1/8 tsp. Honey 10 mini Hershey's Milk Chocolate Chips (any brand will do though) 1/8 tsp. Shortening (Crisco) Carefully Mix all ingredients into a microwave safe container. Make sure they are all clumped together. (Do not put lid on) Heat at high power for 20 seconds, stir, then repeat until fully melted. Then pour into a small bottle, and freeze for 15 min, or until solid. Then you can apply it on your lips!

Hey this sounds yummy and so easy to make. I think I will give it a try. I don't any crisco at the moment, but I can probably use organic coconut oil. I'm sure my 8 year old grandaughter will love this!

That sounds kind of gross - the crisco part. Do you know any other lipbalm recipes... maybe with beeswax or something not so icky as crisco? I never thought of putting real chocolate in it either. That's interesting. Does it expire faster this way? I bet it tastes better. :)

It sounds interesting, and I bet it tastes good too. I wonder how long it will keep using Crisco and chocolate chips though. I suppose it should be ok though.
